Through an ion exchange process, softeners remove harsh calcium, magnesium, iron, and manganese ions from your water supply. In the end, you can run your business more effectively -- using less detergent, reducing hard-water build-up and saving equipment from unnecessary wear. Culligan of Tulsa offers industrial water softeners with capacities ranging from 20 gallons per minute to 500 gallons per minute. The units can be controlled by timeclock, meter or direct digital control. Duplex units are available for uninterrupted soft water. Reverse Osmosis Systems Clean up your water with a Culligan reverse osmosis (RO) system. In reverse osmosis, water is passed through a semi-permeable membrane under high pressure, removing unwanted materials This process eliminates 95%+ of dissolved minerals, particles and organics from your water, giving you pure water for anything from making beverages to printing. Our RO units range from 500 to 75,000 gallons per day. Complete design and installation capabilities, including pre-engineered skid mounted units are offered. Duplex units are available for uninterrupted filtered water. Portable Exchange Deionization We offer portable deionization tanks which can deliver from 250 to 10,000 gallons per set of tanks. These are useful where moderate quantities of pure water are needed and/or handling of the acid and caustic required for an automatic deionizer is not desired. These tanks feature quick connect fittings with quality lights that signal when the tanks are exhausted. Also offered are automatic systems which can be automatically switch from one train to another when quality falls below setpoints. Delivery of tanks can be arranged on a periodic basis or on call. Water qualities range from weak base (50 - 100,000 ohms) to combination units with quality in excess of 15 meg ohm water.
